Joint Stock Company
Joint stock company is a limited company that can issue stock certificates, which is set up with at least 5 shareholders who can be real persons or legal entities.
Joint stock company's stock capital is divided into shares, and
the liability of the shareholders is limited with the share
capital.
It will take about 3 – 5 working days and cost 1500 – 2000 euro
to register a joint stock company.
Minimum capital requirement is 50,000 TL (app. 25,000 euro).
Tax rate is fixed and constitute 20% of the profit.
As with the limited companies the liquidation of a joint stock
company is a long and complicated process, which can take over a
year.
The cost and duration of company registration depend on the
company type and the number of founders.
