Limited Liability Company
Limited company in Turkey can be
set with at least 2 and up to 50 founders.
It will take about 3 – 5 working days and cost 1000 – 2000 euro
to register a limited company.
Minimum capital requirement is 5000 TL (app. 2500 euro).
Tax rate is fixed and constitute 20% of the profit.
The liability of the shareholders is limited with the share
capital. The founders can be real persons or legal entities.
Similar to Joint stock companies in other respects, limited
companies cannot issue stock certificates.
This is the most popular company type in Turkey . It is perfect
for a bigger business with higher profits as it is more
advantageous than a private entrepreneur in terms of the fix tax
rate.
The liquidation of a limited company is a long and complicated
process. It takes about a year for the company to no longer
exist.
The cost and duration of company registration depend on the
company type and the number of founders.
